Install nVidia nTune. Same issues here with single monitor setup. Display went black as usual with a driver update then flashed a few times with artifacts & then just back to a black screen. After booting in safe mode and using DDU to remove the driver the only thing that I had to do is setup my keyboard config (logitech g510).
