Apparently the virus must have check the proxy box and perhaps put its web address in and that was why I could only go to their web page. After much tribulation I removed the Trojan, but could not get IE to connect. Finally, on the suggestion from another post by Googling "IE7 cannot connect but Firefox can", I reinstalled IE 7. Report Ozboy› W.
