On Windows there is a lot of (security) software that decides to intercept and monitor all internet traffic and in order to do that they place themselves in the connection. I found that the proxy using of IE enables without even the related checkbox (int the tools->connection->Lan settings) is selected. Firefox is not correctly detecting that the user has logged into the network and DNS is working again. In SAFE MODE, it worked, because COMODO wasn't running, I guess.
