Go to http://www.memtest86.com , download their memory test for either floppy or CD, follow the instructions and reboot to the memory test. And I can't open the Registry Editor!!!!!!! I've run "sfc /scannow", did a System Restore, msconfig and HiJack show no suspicious programs running. This will open a Command Prompt window. So, if MS's explanation is correct, then I don't have "read permission" for "regedit.exe".
